Prego Trattoria SM Aura in Metro Manila

"Well what can I say, Prego is my favorite restaurant in SM Aura. Joe the manager is a great host and very attentive to all our needs and the food is fantastic. The minestrone soup is my favorite to start with along with Parma ham and melon followed by Duck Ravioli. Always great to finish with an Espresso Coffee to give you the energy to walk off all the calories haha. I will be back again soon guys take care ."

"Delicious food, nice ambience but most of all amazing service! The waiters were so nice! Also, being on the 5th floor it's a little secluded and quiet, it definitely deserves more customers though We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the prices were very reasonable as well. (The fruitshakes are highly recommended)"

"What a great place to come with friends or family. I’ve been here a few times before now so now what to expect. The food is authentic to Italian style as you can get. All fresh and made to order. I recommend this place to anyone. The staff are so friendly and always make me welcome everytime Iv been here. But the food is why I come back every time."

"I truly enjoyed the meal. The taste was good, and the portion size was perfect. I also found the prices to be reasonable. The wireless credit card terminal made payment convenient. One suggestion for improvement would be for the staff to kindly ask before clearing plates from the table."

"It wasn’t our first rodeo at Prego Trattoria at all. The place is somewhat cramped, but is designed in an authentic italian vibe at the very least. We were then immediately seated by the waitstaff. We proceeded to order our usual italian staple favorites. The Pepperoni pizza was decent. You really know its authentic italian style, but it lacks that star power that give it identity over other authentic italian options. It was still good though regardless. One thing to add, its just sad that they do not serve freshly crushed black pepper, only the standard ground black pepper. The pasta came second. It was the aglio olio with shrimp. The pasta had a nice seafood savory flavor, but you can definitely compare it with the pasta you make at home. They also only use boxed pasta. It was just okay, but like the pizza, it also lacked the oomph that is needed to take it to the next level. Lastly, for the salmon fillet, it was too greasy for us. They did not skimp on the butter here. Also, my wife says the fish has a pungent fishy taste but it was somewhat kinda ok for me. We both agreed on the excess oil for sure though. It also came out pricey at ₱950. We definitely do not recommend people ordering it given these circumstances. The table service we got was great, but we could hear over at the other table that their lamb was delayed and the customer became irate. The kitchen was also panicking with churning out the orders of the big party whom dined outside. It was chaos for the crew on their dinner service. The waitstaff came out to apologize to frustrated guests. Overall, there are only a few authentic italian restaurants in the Philippines, and this is one of them, but for me personally, they are outdone by the upcoming flavors that come out these days. All in all, while I give this place a 4* simply for being an authentic Italian place I dine in frequently back when Italian places rarely come by, they are now outclassed by other newer Italian places around the metro."

"We visited this restaurant for dinner with friends during a storm, and we were grateful to find that they were one of the few places still open. It turned out to be a choice for many stranded mall-goers looking for a warm meal. Overall, the food was decent, though I found the lasagna a bit oily for my taste probably because it’s served sizzling. That said, my friends enjoyed it, so it might just be a matter of personal preference. We opted for a table in the small dining area instead of the bar area. I found the interior design to be interesting and cute, but I do think there’s room for improvement."

"We dined at Prego and overall had a great experience. The complimentary bread: fresh, flavorful, and easily the best we’ve had so far. Their carbonara was also excellent–creamy and well-balanced, definitely a must-try! The Caesar salad and salmon were decent, though a bit rich when paired with the pasta. The salmon might pair better with rice or something lighter on the side. For dessert, we had the frozen tiramisu—not too sweet with a nice hint of saltiness, though it got a little heavy toward the end. Service was smooth and the ambiance was nice for a casual yet classy meal. Would definitely come back to try other dishes!"

"This is my go to place for when i crave pasta. They have other side dishes that are also good. You can not go wrong with the chicken parmigiana, i hate that i crave it every now and then. The steak was alright but big portions. The chicken parmigiana with red sauce pasta is really the go-to imo"
